Gibson Les Paul Custom 1955

This 1955 Gibson Les Paul Custom has survived in excellent condition and is a fabulous playing example after a meticulous refret inside the binding. It is completely original throughout and has suffered no breaks or repairs. It plays like a brand new instrument, but has all the feel, character, and vibe that the 1950s Les Pauls are known for. It as the best of both worlds.

Do you have one you're considering selling? Contact me here:

Measurements: 8.5 lbs / 3.85 kg weight. The neck measures 1.70" / 43.2 mm wide at the nut, 0.93" deep at the first fret, and 1.01" deep at the 12th fret. The AlNiCo V neck pick measures 8.2k ohms and the bridge P-90 reads 7.9k ohms.

Originality: 100% except the frets. It has suffered no breaks, repairs, or disturbed solder.

Playability: Excellent! It's a fabulous playing example now that it has new frets. The meticulous refret inside the binding did not require planing the fretboard. The tiny bits of biding which encase the fret ends are all as present as they were before. This style of refret is far more difficult and time consuming, but vintage guitars of this caliber are deserving of it. The truss rod and all electronics are operating as the manufacturer intended them.

Included: Original hard shell case

Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period on all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from refunds in the case of a return.
