1978 Fender Vibro Champ Amp

Fender's Vibro Champ amplifier model debuted in 1964 amongst the cool new line of black face plate amplifiers including the Princeton Reverb and Deluxe Reverb. It features the standard mid 1960s single ended Champ circuit but with an added tube driven tremolo section. Unlike the larger Fender amps, the smaller Champ and Vibro Champ didn't change much from the mid 1960s throughout the 1970s.

Make and Model: Fender Vibro Champ-Amp

Year: 1978. Output transformer code "606--820" indicating the twentieth week of 1978 by Schumacher. How To Date a Vintage Fender Guitar Amp.

Originality: All parts are original to this amplifier including the tubes!

Condition: Excellent! Apart from some light corrosion on the metal parts on the top of the cabinet, it's super clean. I've thoroughly cleaned every inch of this one.

Playability: Excellent! This one plays like new with no issues.

Notes: The 1970s era Vibro Champ amps represent a ton of vintage amplifier value that's accessible to all players. With a hand wired circuit, the amp is easily repaired or even modified if you're looking for that perfect tone. I'm confident you'll love this 1978 Fender Vibro Champ amp!
